Thank you, Worldcon!

The virtual Worldcon, CoNZealand, went well! I’m sure the experience would have been even more fantastic if I could have travelled to Wellington, but anyway it’s great I managed to participate in the happening virtually.

My schedule as a speaker:

Mythology and Fantasy (Panel) – 31st July 2020, Friday 15:00 – 15:50 NZST, Programme Room 3 (Webinar)

Many great fantasy works, from the classics to recent works like those by Madeline Miller, are firmly based in mythology, either directly or indirectly. The panel looks at how mythology permeates fantasy. E.J. Beaton (moderator), David Hair, Taru Kumara-Moisio, Navah Wolfe

Reading (Taru Kumara-Moisio: My Finnish Taniwha) – 1st August 2020, Saturday 10:00-10:25 NZST, Reading Room 2

I’ve already got a few questions in English about My Finnish Taniwha. Many seem to be interested in the way I have used a child’s perspective. That makes me feel happy!
